Last week, i was at an event chatting with a few VCs.

One of the VCs who is from silicon valley, asked if we use “east coast terms”.

Before I could reply, another Boston-based VC said that he uses an east coast term sheet for local investments and but uses his west coast term sheet for bay…

Everyone has a goal, what’s yours?

Hi. My name is Lisa.

My goal over the next year is to raise enough money to move to Los Angeles and begin a life there.

I live and work full-time in media on the East coast now plus do lots of little side jobs, but my soul belongs on the West coast. That may sound really weird and loopy — I promise I’m not a hippy. However, I’m sure to everyone who lives in LA, it sounds about right.

Anyways, I’ve decided to blog my mini-adventure of trying to scrape up just enough cash to get me to where I’m meant to be, all while enjoying life here too. It may be entertaining, it may not be. One thing is for sure though, it’ll keep me on track.
